With Best of the Season coming up, we are asking families to participate in the school council gift basket auction. Each class will be given a theme and the students are asked to bring in an item or gift card related to the theme. On the evening of the event, we will be holding a silent auction to sell off each class' basket. Your child(ren) will be coming home with a note relaying their class theme in the next few days. Items can brought in to the office during parent/teacher interviews or dropped off in your child's classroom beginning November 26th. Items will be accepted up until December 7th. This year, our Best of Season event will include a Holiday Gift Shop. The shop will be open during the days December 12th and 13th, and the evening of the 13th for Best of Season. We are looking for new/gently used items (small please--mugs, books, candles etc.) to include in the shop. We will have a bin located outside the library for items to be dropped off. This is a chance for our kids to be independent and buy what they would like to give this year. AND, its a surprise what you'll end up getting. Also, gift bags would be much appreciated. We'd like to be able to have items wrapped and ready to go. Funds raised from the shop will be put towards our grade 6 students end of year trip.
